Your paramedics responded promptly when one of our sergeants suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during firearms training. They immediately got into the Devens Fire Ambulance to assist while driving to UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
The sergeant’s family and colleagues at the Cambridge Police Department are grateful for the quick response and assistance. It is for this reason that the Cambridge Police Department would like to acknowledge their professional conduct and could not let this opportunity go by without recognizing how they have distinguished themselves.

I just wanted to thank your EMTs and paramedics and bless them for saving my life. God has a special place in heaven for them when they finish their work here. Thank you!! You’re my guardian angels!

I was picked up by one of your ambulances on Thursday, May 6 when I was experiencing a severe allergic reaction to something I ate. The professionalism and care that I received from the gentleman and young lady who picked me up was amazing, and looking back I have never gone through such a horrible thing before. I am glad that I will see my 23rd birthday and college graduation at Fitchburg State this month, and I think that is all because of the wonderful treatment by your EMT staff. They should be commended for their prompt and wonderful job! Thank you so very much!!!

The family of Joyce S. would like to thank each and every member of your ambulance crews. They are all very caring and giving people.
Each time they transported her they were ever so gentle. Mom had bone cancer and was fragile, she had confidence in them and they made her smile.
You should all be proud, you have that very special touch. Once again, thank you very, very much.

Thank you to the members of your organization who responded on Saturday, December 2, 2006 to the motor vehicle accident on Rte 2A in our town. This accident presented us with many challenges — not only were the occupants of both vehicles suffering from critical injuries but both were severely entrapped. The members of your organization responded in a manner that we have come to expect: they were very professional, knowledgeable and competent, they worked with members of my department as though we were one organization. This in turn led to a very smooth operation and extrication. This incident once again shows how well our agencies work together. I commend these individuals for the way they performed.
I also thank you for the two ambulances you sent, one to cover our town and the other for one of the Med Flight crews.
Please pass along my thanks and praises for a job well done.
